The Parish of Ewhurst and Ellens Green
The Choir
Our dedicated choir leads the singing at each Common Worship service and Choral Evensong, They participate in special services, weddings, funerals and at the Summer Songs of Praise in the Old Rectory garden. They are organised and led by Val Dixon Henry, our Director of Music. A particular highlight for our choir is at Christmas time when they sing carols in all our services and at The Bulls Head, our local pub !
They rehearse every Friday evening in the church during term time. You are very welcome to come along and sing with them. New members are warmly welcomed.

Bellringing
There is a long tradition of bell ringing in Ewhurst. The oldest bells date from the 15th Century and are probably amongst the oldest in Surrey. Bells are rung every Sunday and by special request. Bell ringing practice is every Wednesday evening with new youngsters joining in.
Hand bell sessions are also a highlight of the Advent services. Ewhurst is proud to have a peal of 8 bells.

A weekly coffee morning is held in the nearby Glebe Community Centre. It's on a Wednesday between 10:30am and 12 noon and is a very welcome morning of fellowship and village chat.

The Church Fete
Each year we hold our Church Fete in the Churchyard. It's a wide collection of stalls, activities, a BBQ and other refreshments and takes a lot of organising. Volunteers are always very welcome in helping put this event together !
